Lately I have been feeding super worms to my N. chromatus. It really seems to like them and attacks them aggressively. However, yesterday one got away and buried itself. I looked for it and could not find it. I have read that these can wreak havoc on molting spiders. Today I cleaned the enclosure and looked through all the substrate. The worm was no where to be found. Tiberius must have dug up the worm. I should have trusted the T. They know what their doing.

Do you have any cork bark? Check for sawdust around it. They like to burrow into it.

I have a good six inches of sub in a giant tub for my t stirmi. Super worm burrowed before being eaten. luckily, I saw my spider eating it a week and a half later. That's the lone unaccounted for feeder. Always crunch half the head. The whole head makes the super just lay there, half keeps it moving without burrowing.
