She could stay a Tristan That's actually my sister's name & we've met a female here & there with it also.

I'll wager a guess and say male from what I see. Exuvia and microscope is the best way though and once you know what to look for in a molt it's pretty easy Wait for it to molt out and check back or read up on checking for spermathecae.
