Ok I got a tri-color at a reptile show last week. Its really tiny , talkin it could fit on a dime . What are the typical set ups for this species? I was told humid forrest type set-up. Also I have a have a maffia scorp . Typical set up? Are either considered a HOT sting? I cant seem to find a lot of good care sheets for either. I think , think its a hissing scorp ( the tri-color). Thanks !

O. glabifrons is the only species of the Opistophthalmus genus which I know of to have potentially high envenomation levels. It has not been known to cause death, though the symptoms have been known to be quite severe and extremely painful. All species I know of are also from Sub-Saharan Africa and require a low humidity level of between 50 and 65%.

adios,
edw. ;)
