Hey everyone... Haven't posted in a while but I caught what I thought was a trapdoor spider. I could be wrong though.
any tips on trapdoors? Heat/Humidity, venom strength? He obviously has a bad temper lol
I would assume it's a MM. If so, I wouldn't try to keep it. Just let it go, let it breed and then look for spiderlings. All the MM I have caught, all died shortly after. I do have one that I've kept alive. I have found that they dehydrate fast and never eat. The one I've kept alive, if it didn't have any water for a day or two, it would get sluggish and half curl. So keep water at all times. I also have a juvenile specimen that is way more interesting. It burrows and does everything else. All the MMs just run around the container to no end. Not that fun, go find yourself a female.
