Trap Door spider

Im thinking about getting a trap door spider...are they easy to care for??? whats a better one to have red or black???whats the diffrence does one get bigger then the other?

It doesn't make much difference, because if you set them up right, you'll never see them!

One thing I've done is to use a cylindrcal container with annother, smaller cylindrical object in the center. I pack the substrate into the space between the object and the sides of the container. This forces the spider to make it's burrow near the side and you can sort of see the spider in the burrow.

Of course my African black trapdoor doesn't honor us with his presence. But they are cool if you do get to see them.
