Yay my first post!!

I currently have 3 Avics (Avic Avic, A. Metallic, A. Aurantiaca), and really would like more from this genus! It just seems like there are so many of them, I'm not sure where to start! What do you think are the 'must haves' for an avic lover?

Thanks!!

Not an Avic anymore, but I think Caribena versicolor is an absolute must-have!

Currently I only have a C. Versicolor, but I saw a great offer for an A. sp. "Blue Velvet". Maybe an option for you as well?

Purpurea is nice, but there's a much more purple species of avic, and unlike purpurea, this one gets large, grows quickly, eats like a beast and doesn't hide.....its like the anti purple purpurea. Its the avic formerly known as sp. purple, or Peru purple.

Its now juronesis MT#2 (I believe), and it possibly the most underrated and [one of the] least frequently talked about members of the genus.

All Avics are really great, its such a fantastic genus. minitrix is really cool, sp. Columbia is as well (vanessa hit that one), and grym hit another real beauty.
