Too much substrate?

Hey Gang

My 50mm Phlogius Stents is a prolific burrower and I'm keen to rehouse her into something deeper. I always hear about people not putting in enough substrate but my question is is it possible to make it too deep? Wether it be for practical or health purposes.

I'd love to hear people personal experiences and opinions on the matter.:worship:

Cheers
Bro.

In the wild, Ts have thousands of feet of substrate to dig down into.

There's never enough sub IMO. :D

As relates to capyive tarantula husbandry, "too deep" would be not enough headroom. You need to leave room for them to pile up all the dirt they'll be removing when they burrow. Of course, you can remove it later once the top starts filling up but some species sort of resent the intrusion.
