Is my curly hair too fat? I havent fed him in about 7 weeks and hes still got that badonkadonk. He is not slow paced at all and he is not dragging his butt on the floor, but hes been moving voraciously around his tank which usually means hes hungry, should i just not feed him? 20220814_211132.jpg

no, he is a normal Brachypelma plump.

Fwiw, you wont see it change with fasting, only a molt will see it get thinner.

So how do i know when to feed him again?

What do i do if he starts dragging his abdomen around? Its getting quite large.

You won't need to, but if you do, feed very small meals...but food isn't a need till after next molt. Wait a month or so and you can try something small like a small cricket or a meal worm.

Well, the object is to not let it get to that point....it won't get any fatter if you don't feed it.
