anyone got any advice for someone who's only ever seen one and doesn't know anything about them? I've been offered one but i'm not sure if i want it or not. id like to hear something about them before i look into it more and start researching them. i'd like to know what i'd be getting myself into.

they are very ill tempered and do not like to be messed with.good for display but not as a pet. i have one.

Hi all I have 2 of these little guys and as they are a bit hateful they dont hurt that bad.They are little pigs to and the barking is pretty neat also they will glue there eggs to a vertical surface what ever you do dont let them go outside they are a very invasive spiecies I think they are established in Florida.

the one i've been offered is a captive breed baby female. its temperament is very good and it's suprisingly handlable but that's cause its been raised with handling. do you have to have more than one together? how big do they get? what would i need to keep one in?

well the ones ive been around were about 15 to 18 inches. and man their gorgeous. id get a few if i could but i just cant afford the initial setup cost at the moment.
