So my tadpoles just developed or are finishing develop their back legs. Would you guys happen to know how many more weeks before the front legs develop? And how many more weeks before the tadpoles become toadlets completely? When they are tadpoles with front and back legs but still tail. Do I feed them anything else other than algea waffers/turtle pellets? They're pretty big. The largest one being the size of a penny.

They're american toad tadpoles which I bred myself. When should I start putting the land area in the tank? At first it was full of water, then I lowered it to half, then I just cleaned it out yesterday and filled it up more than half. sorta like almost the whole tank itself. xD It has two strong aerators made for a 100gallons each. There's aquatic plants in there and a "nursery" for fish in there. I was going to use that to seperate them when they become toadlets and start to absorb their tail.

Suggestions? Temperature is room temp.

I would float a piece of cork bark or styro or something in there for them to come out when they are ready. I believe it takes around 2 months for them to turn into toadlets. Then you'll need some pinheads or other tiny feeders.

2months? D8 If they just got in their back legs--- how long would you say before they turn into toadlets?
