I just had a P. audax sac unload on me, and shortly, they're gonna wanna eat.
I went to Tom Neal for fruit fly cultures.
For the Jumpers, I went with D. melanogaster, because
as small as they are, they're bigger than P. audax hatchlings.
Later, when I need fruit flies for T slings, Tom Neal's got D. hydea
which are a good bit bigger. Tom Neal's fruit fly cultures came to me
nicely packaged, all alive and kicking ( or should I say 'hopping')
I had a heat wave going on at the time, so I had to wait a bit for the
heat to break for shipping. By then, I figured I'd better not waste time so I had Tom Neal's fruit fly cultures Overnighted to me. Might have cost a little more that way, but better safe than sorry, and to top it off, Tom Neal threw in an extra culture, so it really didn't cost more. Tom Neal is a pleasure to do business with! He answered all my questions
promptly and thoroughly and sent excellent care sheets to me so that
I know exactly how to maintain Tom Neal's fruit fly cultures.
Thanks Tom! Keep up the great work!
I ordered 100 Roaches from Tom and could not have been more pleased. I got a good mix of sizes, male/female. They were healthy and calm and packed very well. The communication was excellent..he sent me a very detailed care sheet and still was willing to answer extra questions. I would recommend without hesitation.
Another happy experience with Tom Neal's Fruit Flies
When I found myself needing to feed hundreds of slings,
I went to Tom Neal and got a couple of cultures of D. melanogaster ( the small ones) to feed them with. Tom Neal sent the cultures out right away and even
hooked me up with an extra culture. Tom Neal's Fruit Flies arrived
with lots of ready-to-feed flies and lots more eggs and pupae.
My slings grew so well eating Tom Neal's Fruit Flies that I recently
decided to order more cultures, this time the larger D. hydea Tom Neal sent me a great count of large and vigorous D. hydea.
Once again, lots of ready-to-eat flies, with plenty more flies to come
from eggs and pupae. My slings are eating and molting and doing very
well indeed on a diet of Tom Neal's Fruit Flies. I'm very pleased to do business with Tom Neal and I recommend Tom Neal's Fruit Flies to everyone with hungry babies to feed.
T Neal and his feeders are great. I was hesitant about getting fruit flies at first, but all my critters love them. The instructions and care stuff he includes are all great, he even threw in some freebies of a different species so that I could see the size difference. All around good guy and even shipped late in the week for me.
If you want fruit flies the only sane choice is Tneal!
