Tityus sp. from Venezuela

One of my grad school buddies just got back from doing some field research down in Venezuela, in the south/southwest near the Orinoco river and the border with Colombia, and he brought me back this...too bad he only found me one..
I can't blame him, he's a snake guy not a scorp guy.

Oh well, we'll have to wait to see what sp. it is...it is beautiful though.

oh yeah, it's pretty small...probably only 3rd instar.

wonderful species!!!!
i love them, but there are no way to get such species in europa, just every year a few imported species.... damn

Nice picture but 3rd instar means it will be nearly impossible to ID and definitely impossible to ID with pictures.
