Tityus serrulatus birth pics

My T. serrulatus was giving birth and lost one scorpling that didn't unfold yet (last 2 pics under microscope). I had to send my camera to sony for repair a few weeks back but fortunately Vincent traded the Olympus E-400 for a Sony DSC-H5 and therefor he was able to take some pics, they were actually the first pics shot with this new camera :lol:

They're superb Tom. Its the first time Ive seen pictures quite like these and the image quality isn't half bad either with large zoom and crops..

Hi Anastasia,

No problem I have enough (11 gravid females) of Tityus serrulatus and the female has now 12 healthy youngs on her back.

Really great picture Tom, I find it really hard to photo females when they are doing this.

Wonderful!, how they all fit on her back, lol
she probly looks like yellow school bus, :D lol

So the one was basically stillborn? Or was it alive and never made it out of the "sac"?
