I am going on a trip for roughly 10 days or so. I've been keeping dubia roaches for feeders for my T's (roaches are about 1/2" and smaller). I'm trying to figure out what to leave in the enclosure for them to feed on that won't spoil? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I’ve done potatoes and carrots, but haven’t gone as long as 10 days. Anything after 4-5 starts to look dry and questionable IMO where I live.

I‘ve also done dry food (i.e fish food, dog food) and a large bowl of water crystals so the roaches can stay hydrated; these won’t spoil.

I’m no expert, just some things I’ve tried.

I was thinking old fashioned oats and a butt load of water balls. Thanks for the tips.

Sounds like an all you can eat buffet and bottomless drinks; a 10 day ‘casino’ vacation for them. 😆

Lmao. Thanks again for the help and advice. I really do appreciate it.
Likely responses tomorrow from others. Tends to slow down in the evenings. Our international friends likely busy at work and the North Americans, well, likely to bed right after supper. 😂

@Craig73's suggestion of dry food and water crystals are sound. Roaches can last around a week without water longer without food. They can survive the apocalypse better than us anyway.

I use a mix of chick feed and fish flake, and then water crystals for hydration.

Basically stays good until it's all consumed.
