Anybody have any idea of the amount of time specific species take per instar/in between molts? Not much comes up in research. Specifically I'd like to know about Hottentotta Tamulus and Hadrurus Arizonensis if possible. Thanks!
Probably not finding much because moult timing is pretty variable - it's going to depend on food, temperature, etc. Broadly speaking, the older they get the longer the time delay between moults.
Instars of maybe 1-4 can take anywhere between 2 and 8 months to molt depending on food, temperature, stress, and how safe the scorpion feels. Making them feel safe by giving them places to hide may help some.
