I caught an all green tiger beetle with white facial markings and it was cool, I later let it go. Anyway do tiger beetles make good pets or do they just hide all day. If they make good pets how do you house and care for them, I may try this in the future but as of now I have enough mouths to feed.

Sounds like you found Cicindela sexguttata. They make decent pets, can be kept in relatively small containers, 6 inches long, 4 inches wide, 1 inch tall is about minimum. Put them on a sandy substrate with a small hide spot, they won't hide much. Keep them warm and feed them live crickets and flies daily.
