I and my dog Mishka (Long Haired Dauschaund) sp., Decided to try and ctach a skunk in Utah when I was 9 or 10 yrs old, all Mishka caught were cockelburs matted througout her long pretty coat, I (unfortunately) almost had him!!! I ran back to my grandmas house to tell her how I had almost caught that "stinky rabbit" I took about a step into the door and my grandma hit me with some kind of nose tackle football move that sent me flying the other direction in a hurry, she made me strip, put my clothes in a garbage bag and they went straight in the trash, hopped on her bike (Bicycle, LOL) and headed to the corner store cussing under her breath, she showed back up w/about 6 of those big tin cans of tomato juice she made me climb in the horse trough and proceded to scrub the shi! out of me with her laundery scrubber while pouring the stinging potion over my 9 yr old cut and scraped body, it hurt like He!! Poor Mishka got it worse as she got shaved (a couple fresh razorburns), and then dunked in the sweet acidic pain juice, we never tried to catch another, EITHER of us!!!!

Oh Yea, The Tomato juice worked great in eliminating the smell but I tasted that skunk in my mouth for a for a week!!!

This story was so unexpectedly funny that it made me inhale my coffee!!
