I have a Rose Hair T, she is doing something I have never seen before. She is constantly moving her fangs, while she rubs her butt/abdomen with one of her hind legs, then she moves that leg to her mouth, does anyone know what she is doing?

Grooming. Like a cat - wetting the leg, then grooming various parts of herself.

Grooming. I love to watch my rosie groom he's a contortionist. Has your rosie ate recently mine always grooms after a meal I think I enjoy watching him groom more than watching him eat.

The first time I saw that I thought the same things, what the heck??? But my A. avic will do that all the time. Clean and clean and clean. LOL.

When I see one of my tarantulas grooming I feel like such a good T owner. Only a very comfortable and relaxed T would feel safe enough to groom herself. I felt the same way when my pet rat would fall asleep in my lap. Nothing better than that! :)

Scared me when I saw my first sling, P.irminia doing that. I've kept a lot of true spiders but they'd always clean one leg at a time, or a pedipalp but he was switching around cleaning between 2-3 legs or one of the pedipalps. Thought the sling got stuck or something but I continued watching and figured it out.

Makes since. Spiders don't want a fungus infection.
