Title is fairly self explanatory, I want to know which species in general have extremely thick metasoma. I know Australis and mauritanicus are already up there so anything besides those two really. Pics are much appreciated as well 👌🏻

This species has a very fat, very impressive tail... androctonus mauretanicus (Moroccan fat tail? Not sure which one it is). And whoops, just reread your your comment! Lolz. Other than A. mauretanicus, I'd say the adult Androctonus Australis has a very impressive thick tail!

Watching australis grow and that metasoma change with each eccdysis always makes me smile.
Androctonus gonneti is another species with truly impressive metasoma...especially the jump from 4i to 5i and beyond.
