I got my four new pedes today. Oh what an exciting moment. My S.s.de haani tried to bite my tongs right off the bat when I was trying to remove the paper towel. Now that was a rush since they all are so much bigger than my others. I got a Malaysian giant,(S.s de haani), Vietnamese red headed,(Scolopendra sp.), Vanuatu,(Scolopendra sp.), and a Blue ring leg,(S.morsitans). Here's a few pics of my newest members to my family and boy do I love them:D

Wow Becky, they all look great. Nice pics!
For anybody that is wondering, as I am, what exactly is the distribution of Scolopendra subspinipes dehanni?

Well; I'm just making my guess by the color (not taxonomical value, but it can be orientative) and relative size.
1. Scolopendra multidens or S.dehanni (taka a look of number of spines of the terminal legs, if 3 spines, dehanni if more, probably a multidens )
2. Scololendra dehanni (ex- scolopendrs subspinipes dehanni, now is a separate specie)
3. Scolopendra subspinipes
4. Ethmostigmus trigonopodus (only found in africa).

Cheers
Carles
