I just saw a five lined skink in my house. Plestiondon fasciatus I'm pretty sure I know how it got in. There is a small hole in the wall that leads to underneath the house. (been meaning to block it.) Think it'll go back out that way? Can it survive in my house? if not, is there any feasible way to trap it?

Chances are it won't last long. You could release hundreds of feeder insects so it would have food, but I don't think that would be recommended. :p The worse case scenario is probably that you will find its body in a month or two. Hopefully though you can find it and catch it so it can be released.

Thanks. I was afraid of that. Hopefully it will find its way back out the way it came in.
