Theraphosa spinipes randomly bleeding, what the heck?

ok so I watched my girl walk out from her burrow and up to the glass so I was like SWEET photo time! Then I noticed she was bleeding from her underside where her legs meet her carapace. Random!! :? any ideas!??

It looks red. Tarantula hemolymph is not red, it is copper based so has a bluish tint.

If you ask me, that's not haemolymph. It is a secreted liquid, probably from the coxal glands.

yeah I thought so too, it seems to have gone away now.... nothing to worry about I guess...

All of my Ts do that right before they clean or right after they're done cleaning, I see it all the time. To the person who said it looks red, that is just the light/reflection of the Ts body distorted through the drop.

Don't worry about it, Tarantula hemo is white. The stuff you see there is completely normal.
