I have a nice Theraphosa stirmi/spinipes/Burgundy/whatever and I found a gorgeous mature male in a store that is pushing 10 inches LS or even more. It got similar coloration than my girl, doesn't have hooks (so at least it's not a apophysis) and even though I saw pictures of mating involving very disparate individuals, I would like to make sure that I won't create hybrids.
So I would be delighted to se comparative pictures of T blondi and T stirmi MM pics so I could figure out if that boy is the good species.
I am not dead set against hybridation, but you understand that with this case (taxonomic blur) it would be very un-appropriate ; )
