OH DUH!!! I have watched my big brother collect coins and currency since I can remember. I went to his house the other day and he had a vial of coins and it dawned on me... the plastic holders for half dollars are clear plastic with screw-on tops and are the PERFECT size for slings! And they are ONLY around 69¢ at any shops that sell coins, stamps and such. DUH!!!! Why didn't I think of them YEARS ago!!!

Well, hope it helps you guys find "ther pefect home" for your babies!!!!

I found a shot of some of the half dollar ones here.

Looks like a promising idea, the only question is how easy it is to modify the lids for ventilation.

A Dremel tool is PERFECT due to the high RPMs, it doesn't crack the plastic. If you don't have one, a hot nail also works perfect!

Hi all
I'm a photographer and it seems that clear plastic film containers would work really well. Also, the film lids are easy to poke a hole in. Most photo labs recycle these containers, and for sure if you went to a lab they'd give you a whole bunch for free. But, I've never raised slings, so I'm not sure of what works.
