It took a couple of weeks, and plus a few days more to finally witness this young Scolopendra heros I’ve acquired, eating.

Apart from not eating, otherwise it was a very active, and healthy young centipede from the moment I unboxed, and housed it.

I tried to feed it every a couple of days apart, and was not very successful. Maybe it was not yet settled into it’s certainly new environment, or it did not feel like to, but come to think of it, perhaps I was offering a bit too large feeder insect to begin with.

So today, I’ve decided to try to feed it yet again, but with a way smaller feeder insect this time around. Who know what, and why, but it did finally eat not just one, but two small roaches in the end.
