One of the plethora of reasons I love bioactive enclosures is the joy I get watching them mature and evolve. It just adds another layer of interest to this fascinating hobby. Here's my first one, which houses my female regalis. This is when it was first setup 2/2/19. 20190202_182645.jpg

And here it is today, after some much needed maintenance, 12/5/2020

And finally, I'm convinced pothos is just latin for "tropical weed". All of this plus a 1g hanging pot has been trimmed from this enclosure and the original ~7 leaves over the course of roughly 2 years.

I've got another "tropical weed" for you. Check out Scindapsus sp. Sliver Satin Pothos. Awesome looking green and metallic silver plant, leaves are maybe just a tad smaller than standard pothos, but same low maintenance and hardiness.

It looks wonky here just after a trimming, but you get the idea.

Very nice! As an aquarist I always appreciate a nicely planted/scaped tank. Pothos is great, I have one tank with pothos growing from it and running across the floor and wrapped onto shelves etc. It's also great at removing nitrates from the water (if keeping fish).
