Yes I’m aware, they’ve been reported to be semi arboreal but from what I have read in nature they usually make their burrows at the bases of trees, so I simulated that with the little hide and filled it with substrate. He’s been in their for only 1 day so he hasn’t had much time to do much, if you have any suggestions please let me know!
In the wild they would probably be making their burrows on embankments. But usually it on trees they would be near the base of the tree and on a hollow area on the side of the tree.

New enclosure for A. seemammi.
It's a 13x11.5x11.5 Sterlite bin. 7-8 inches of sub. 80/20 mix of coco fiber and topsoil. I bought the 3 brick bundle of coco fiber and it just wasn't enough to get the sub depth I wanted. Ventilation holes on all 4 sides and the lid. 20200813_184113_HDR.jpg 20200813_184122.jpg 20200813_184132.jpg 20200813_184140.jpg 20200813_184150.jpg 20200813_184214.jpg 20200813_184219.jpg 20200813_184241.jpg

Magnolia leaves!!!!! Yes!
The only thing I would do differently is a few vent holes on the lid in the middle.

Thanks for the input Mori. I appreciate the sage words of a veteran keeper. The only reason I didn't put vent holes in the middle of the lid is I was thinking about future "stackability".

I would add the holes anyways. What the worst that happens? They get covered?

Nice enclosure, but I would remove some branches, few ones and some leaves to provide her a clean spot to relax.

There are no branches in that enclosure. Just some dried grasses and Magnolia leaves and a half buried piece of cork bark. But you would pull some out. Ok.
I took my inspiration from this video.

My bad, from the phone they seemed branches 😅, but, yes, I would give her more clean space.

Yassss!!!! 9/10. it looks like their natural habitat! I would just flatten down the leaf litter a bit more, but once he/she webs up the enclosure it will look perfecto!
