Me also. Noir means black in French , I think of film noir as meaning black and white.
I always thought a Film Noir was a film with a very 'dark' and foreboding atmosphere to it. They can be in colour, although being in black and white would add to that atmosphere.

Yes it actually is a reference to film style and not so much color but since we're discussing tarantula colors I assumed black and white and not just black

BTW , have we figured out what T we are talking about ?

Love this! I'm going to see what others guess since I'm such a newbie and not sure. I'm just laughing at the idea of a T called Admiral Akbar. "It's a trap!"
