This little Grammostola Sp. took 27 minutos to overcome its prey. I only kept holding the camera because she was continuously bitting. I made a video clip including mostly bite atempts and actual bites. There are only about 4 replays at the beggining of the video, all the rest are shots from diferent hits.

Yep thats bound to happen when you give it a meal thats bigger then the sling is.

yeah that was a pretty large meal, anytime i give them something thats larger than them (usually out of necessity) i kill it first. Or at least crushed its head where its still twitching but not dangerous

Ha, I love watching slings taking down bigger prey. It's very interesting and amsusing. Of course, as long as it can't hurt them, which I don't think a meal worm could. It won't need another meal for days or even weeks lol.

PS: nice choice in music.
