Hello, In Texas we have these smaller spiders that people often refer to as "funnelwebs"... This particular one was caught in Austin (Travis County)... I was told it could be a Euagrus sp. or maybe a Hexura
(Mecicobothriidae)...I've done alot of google searching but haven't found any info... any ideas? Thanks for your time.

hi,
if the fovea is transversal it´s a Dipluridae (in that case probably an Euagrus sp.). If not it´s a Mecicobothriidae --> Hexura sp.
