This is a commonly observed phenomenon....a tarantula's behavior/ temperament can sometimes appear to change drastically after a molt, sometimes permanently. Does anyone know WHY this happens? When a specimen reaches sexual maturity and exhibits a behavioral change, it makes sense, but otherwise I wonder what the physiological mechanisms behind this are and why it happens at other times as well. Does anyone have any interesting observations or knowledge about this?

I’ve wrote this previously on another post with exact question:

But I will say it again.

If you were to take the skinny jeans off without using your hands, for three to four hours, I am certain you would be very tired, and pissed at the same time. Hence the personality changes.

Imagine taking off skinny jeans only to find more skinny jeans under. I would be super pissed. :p
