im a frequent on the scorpion board, but i have a question about spiders. i have a b.jacksoni(tanzanian scorpion). it ate a common house spider(tegenaria agrestis). the scorpion died two days later. i know these spiders are venemous, i was wondering if it could have caused the scorp to die. maybe eating the venom, or it may have got bitten during killing the spider. any info about the affects it could have had on my scorp would be great!

thanks alot, steve

venom must be injected to be active, eating it would not to anything

I've heard of them being fed before without ill results, perhaps it was just the scorpions time? did it show any signs of Invenomation? jerking slowing down irratic or odd behavior? Venom doesnt just sit still then POW dead...
