How harmful are the tiny baby crickets that have hatched in my cages. Are they a concern during a molt like older crickets. I am talking about freshly hatched almost mite sized crickets. My H. gigas may be nearing a molt and I just noticed some tiny crickets in the cage today.

i would clean em out and not risk it, bigger sized crickets are notorious for nibbling on molting spiders i wouldnt see why smaller ones wouldnt do the same

K2, This happens frequently in some of my larger t's enclosures. Only seems to mildly annoy them. The pinheads invariably end up as floaters by the next day in the water dish. However, I don't even attempt feeding pre-killed female crickets once they appear to be getting lethargic or showing signs of premolt. I've also had a small sling killed and partly eaten by a cricket not much larger than a pinhead. :)
