Flipped over and moving a little.

T.albo blocked off its hide about a week ago so it will probably be next to molt.

Not the best lighting, but managed to open lid to water without spooking.

C. Cyaneopubescens

First time I've seen fully stretched since molting. So glad I picked up this sling when i had the chance.

Very nice collection, @Sharptater. You're a cut above all the Bluntspuds 👍

Thanks Dave. I really enjoy my small collection. I kinda went all out and got all the spieces I really wanted all at once lol. Have plans for future additions as well but trying to pace myself.

Do you keep or have kept any of the spieces I have?

I have kept all of these except the Pseudohaplopus sp. purple and gold.
P. murinus was my first Old World some decades ago. Since then I collected every African species I could find.
In New Worlds, I used to prefer the look of Psalmopoeus cambridgei to others in the same genus, until I got P. irminia, and more recently P. victori.
Really like all of the Grammostola spp. Decided I can't pick favorites, like them all.
First T ever was an unidentified Aphonopelma species sold to me in 1986 as a "Texas cinnamon" -- not a common name I've ever seen anywhere else, surely just made up -- not looking like anax or hentzi to my childhood memory, but that one was my favorite I guess.
Funny how small collections so easily become medium-sized, and then enormous over time.
You're off to a great start. Enjoy!

Decided to mix my own substrate. Not exact but roughly 70% topsoil 20% peat 10% sand

I wasn't planning on getting the psuedhapalopus sp. I ordered something else and they ran out. I'm glad I got it tho. Not much info on them but what I could find is true so far, slow growing and skittish/curious nature. Excited to see it when it's an adult, it's gonna be a while tho.
If I had to choose a favorite solely on looks it would be p. Irminia. I really enjoy all of them tho. I find them fasinating. The different looks and behavior.
I definitely see how collections grow so quickly. I'm all the time looking at online sellers and enclosure ideas. Just got a bunch of new larger enclosures for the ones I have now. Have alot of small ones I'm tempted to fill with slings lol.
