How was it stuck? Had wolf spiders get a foot stuck after molt, not sure how they do it but I've had to free a few from their molting mats.

It’s like it was floating around and didn’t have enough grip to get itself out the new water dish evaporated or was spilled in a night I don’t understand how.

Glad it's ok, good call on shallower dish.

once, is it in premolt?

when they go into premolt they sometimes loose the ability to stick to the sides of the plastic properly, especially if they are wet from spraying the water into the dish and for some reason they dont turn around to climb out on the other side, they just try again and again despite failing, i'd still use deep dishes though, rather than shallow i'd go for less of a diameter or more structured dishes

anyway my preferred dishes are nutella/peanut-butter lids that are not dug in, but layed on top of the soil, they are deep enough to last but not overly deep and fairly rough so climbing out is easy

Its not stuck, this usually means they are looking for moisture...when you see this, dampen the substrate.

i have to disagree, the one time i saw it the spider was flailing around in panic, failing to get out, but trying
perhaps it would have managed in time but i didn't wait and helped it out

Yeah, I had my A. Germani fall in her water bowl once and was flailing around all panicked. I don't think she was in real danger, as her abdomen wasn't submerged or anything, but I still tipped it so she fell out and switched out the water bowl. Had used the same kind with a bunch of other spiders and had never had an issue, and she was heavy premolt at the time, so I think she just slipped off the wall and fell in. Awkward.

Hmm was there some reason my t could no longer hydrate itself ? I refilled it the dish Daily but it evaporated so fast. IMG_7061.jpeg IMG_7063.jpeg IMG_7062.jpeg
Rip it didn’t make it to the next molt.
Poor obesity 🥲 I kept about half the sub wet.

It looks like it passed due to the injury and also how one of it's spinnerets is damaged, which could be a possible cause of impaction along with the injury. But who knows for sure? RIP little one.
