It’s like it was floating around and didn’t have enough grip to get itself out the new water dish evaporated or was spilled in a night I don’t understand how.How was it stuck? Had wolf spiders get a foot stuck after molt, not sure how they do it but I've had to free a few from their molting mats.
Glad it's ok, good call on shallower dish. It’s like it was floating around and didn’t have enough grip to get itself out the new water dish evaporated or was spilled in a night I don’t understand how.
Hmm was there some reason my t could no longer hydrate itself ? I refilled it the dish Daily but it evaporated so fast.Yeah, I had my A. Germani fall in her water bowl once and was flailing around all panicked. I don't think she was in real danger, as her abdomen wasn't submerged or anything, but I still tipped it so she fell out and switched out the water bowl. Had used the same kind with a bunch of other spiders and had never had an issue, and she was heavy premolt at the time, so I think she just slipped off the wall and fell in. Awkward.
It looks like it passed due to the injury and also how one of it's spinnerets is damaged, which could be a possible cause of impaction along with the injury. But who knows for sure?
