This is my matured / paired female Dolichothele diamantinensis drumming for whole thirty minutes, to Brachypelma klaasi that is right next to it.

Question is:

The female successfully paired on 04/17/2021, with a couple of ten to fifteen seconds good insertions. Now it’s almost a month into it, then I witnessed this, the female drumming that is. I assume this is a sign of expecting a male from a female.

At this point, does it even matter if I try to pair the female yet another time?

I am curious.

Any insights, remarks, comments are welcome.

If you are sure you saw clear insertions, then it's not necessary to pair again. You could do it again, but that might just increases the odd of the male getting eaten.

Personally I would start focusing on the post conditions for the female to drop.

If the insertion was successful, then pairing again isn't necessary. Even if the female does drum a lot or drum again, it wouldn't matter as long as the insertion was successful.
