Tarantula in Greece

Firstly, I know virtually nothing about tarantulas! However, I have just found what looked like a tarantula in a shirt sleeve hanging in a closet in apartment in Symi, Greece (south east Dodecanese islands). It was very dark red, hairy and about 2.5 inches in diameter. Anyone with any ideas what it was?

There’s only 1 species I’m aware of, in Cyprus. And given Cyprus is not completely owned by Greece, it may be in Turkey ;)

Most likely an eresus, eresus walkenaeri my bet.

If not a lycosa, unlikely a Ischnocolus valentinus.

Nope, not an eresus hahahahaha. Ischolus discarted (very small species), I messed cm with inches xD

That's a chaetopelma?
