I've had that problem for about 2 months now. I emailed the developer but never got a response.

I reported the issue and spoke with the developer, but the problem persists. There is a work around....

First you will need a gallery other than the stock one. I am using pikture.

Go to the tarantula where you want to add or change a picture. Tap the picture. Choose change. Browse to the alternative gallery and choose your picture... Your done.

If the picture needs to be cropped, you will need to do it first. Then load it into the tarantula app.
