One of my most treasured spiders... I love this one! It has great personality - likes to fiddle with stuff in its tank, move things, change the layout, hangs out in plain view, etc. Not too nippy, either - skittish like your average avic but not aggressive.

If it's anything like T. gigas, I'd be interested in hearing how you got it to sit still long enough to be photographed! Beautiful spider :)

Well, that was the day I got her - so she was still a little tired from the trip. Still, I find this species to be less jumpy than gigas, which indeed does NOT sit still (much) for photos. I had an adult male gigas and it took me on a fairly long chase one day while I was trying to take a decent pic on a leaf..!
