Yeah. I have my 3" P. cambridgei in the same size exo terra with a lot of stuff in it. I'm going to chase it out this afternoon & get it into something smaller. I got it to inhabit a small section of the tank, but now i'm worried it'll get stuff under the main focal point of the tank, a fake log attached to the back. It's dug up all the substrate under it.

I don't lake that plastic plants inside.... I personally like live plants, put some Pothos in it or Tillandsias or something from the humid part of the forest fauna, there doesen't need lot of light...For now you can put the sling into 1/2 L (0.1 gallon) jar from a jam or pickled gurkins, thats what I did and I will keep my P. cambridgei sling in there until its about 6-7 cm(2.4-2.7 inches) of its LS, than I will move it into its permenant enclosure.

I wouldn't worry too much, You can leave it where it is. I gave my A. versicolor her permenant enclosure of 5.5 gallon when she was that size allready.

I was speaking for NikiP's post odcourse, her spider is big enough to be in its final enlosure. Yours can be still in a small jar with substrate and a stick. My P. cambridgei doesen't burrow also, instead it makes web higher in the "enclosure".
