My large female just molted as well, so now I have to decide if I want 2500 slings running around hehe!
Here's Talon's molt ...the exuvia measured a bit over 6", so he's probably close to 7" or so, hopefully he can hold his own with Nightmare.

Is his fang ok? It looks messed up in that last pic.

he was stretching in the pic, yes, it's ok. Interestingly, his right fang was partially gone, and it's regenerated perfectly.
I'm always amazed by that!

Hmmmm, would I want the offspring from parents named Nightmare and Talon?:?

Yeah, I'm sure they'll be gorgeous, just like their parents!:D

Eh, I don't ever plan on breeding mine. I think that the market is already saturated with them. You can already find them super cheap. I would check with some of the dealers and see what kind of loot they would throw your way if you gave them the offspring. I doubt it would be too much.

But, captive bred specimens are needed and more desirable in my opinion..... Go for the breeding.

yes, it is L parahybana. I will breed them, since otherwise the male just goes to waste. I'd rather have him do what he was born to do anyway. I'm not a dealer, I just feel that captive breeding is IMPORTANT to the hobby, regardless of species...
