Hello folks

I have a nice 8"+ lady Burgundy, and I found somebody who could send me a male. The only thing is that the boy is 10" LS, therefore bigger than my girl, and they are account of larger males simply attacking a smaller female. With this species, and according to your experience, should I get the male and try, or should I let the female grow a bit more so the next time they are of similar size?

Thanks!

MM's get more spindly and leggy than IM and MF. I would go with it but keep a good look out for the female.

No problem at all. Actually, better that way,
when females are way bigger, the male is unnable to make an insert for HOURS.
Feed him up really good, and go ahead ;)

Yeah. I had problems when I tried mating my big G. pulchra with mature males that did not live up to size. The male's hind legs were sinking in the substrate as they tried to lift my big Queen Kong unsuccessfully.
