T stirmi in pre molt but still eating

I have a t. Stirmi who has been in pre molt for a while and is still eating. Her abdomen is showing a strange white looking powder and there's white coming out of the joints. I just fed her a juicy dubia and will post pictures when she's done feeding.

Tarantulas CAN eat during premolt. It's not physically impossible, they just typically lose interest in food/keepers don't feed during premolt.

You kind of buried the lede, though, since it sounds like this spider might have some other funky stuff going on.

Mine eats until about a week before molting. They are ravenous as slings. AWESOME!
