Hello everyone,

tonight my stirmi flipped over after she was in premolt for a while. While flipping over she managed to get her leg (last one on the right ide, see attachment) stuck under her.

It runs below her across the abdomen and pokes out on the other side if i can see it correctly. Is there anything i could do to help her with? I do not want to disturb her in this state.

I’d just leave her be. Worst case scenario those legs get stuck and either she or you amputate them. They will regrow in the next two molts. How is she doing?

Her other "free" legs moved a little, but the carapax hasnt popped yet. The stuck leg remains the same.

I wouldn't intervene, it knows what it is doing and is capable dealing with the problem in its own way by amputating if it has the need to. Its hard to not want to do something but you may make it worse by intervening!

Yeah I know. Just wanted to double check if someone has a good idea. There was no movement in the past 6 hours, I hope she will pull through!
