My friend has a Mexican Rose Hair and it recently molted, but has not eaten in about 9 months he has had this spider for about 2 years now. He asked if I would be able to get some info so I'm needing you guys on this one lol :?

Its not hungry. It will show sign when its ready to eat.

And its named Chilian rose hair, not Mexican rose hair.

its typical for rosies to go on fasts longest recoder fast lasted 3 years...

Ok thanks will let him know. I have never had a rose hair. Always had pink toes and cobalts. And none of them ever had problems eating. once again thanks for the info, he will appreciate it.

Josh, just remember... rosies were put on this earth to stress us out! :)

Mine didn't eat for 10 months and molted and still didn't eat for another month.


I just quit worrying and I was much happier! :D

well since were on this its less likely to confuse someone by using the scientific name g.rosea because alo of the time common names are so corupt there a few you can say common name and know like colbolt, king baboon, curley hair. but it would be alot eaiser just to say g.rosea thanks :p
