I have the Tarantula Keeper's guide by Schultz.
But I wanted some other books and came upon these on Alibris.com
Tarantula Care
by Breene, Robert G, Jr.
Pub 2005

The Guide to Owning a Tarantula
by Walls, Jerry G.
Date Published: 2001

Proper Care of Tarantulas
by Webb, Ann
Date Published: 1993

So does any one have one of these? What did you think of it?

The Book Review section will give you a little info on some, if not all, of these title's.

I haven't seen the Breen book, but since Schultz quotes him several times I bet it's a good if technical one.

I have this one:

The Guide to Owning a Tarantula
by Walls, Jerry G.
Date Published: 2001

as well as the TKG by Schultz. I think the TKG has everything and more that this covers. I would still recommend it, cause I am the type that wants to learn and read all I can...even if it means reading the same thing a bunch of times in different books. Good photo's and very good information for both noob's and novice's. :)

I have the one by Breene and it's got all the basics in it and some good pics. I would recommend it but it's not near as thorough as the TKG by Shultz.

You might want to check out Tarantulas and Other Arachnids by Samual D. Marshall. It still is not as thorough as TKG but this one has a lot of good pics and a run down discription of a lot of popular species. I would get this one if you were to get another one after the TKG. It's a good one.
