Has anyone noticed or heard of any significant differences between male and female blondi, aside from the obvious mass and legspan-carapace ratio differences that apply to most theraphosids? I'm talking coloration, markings, shape, or setae differences here. Pamphobeteus sp. tend to be pretty sexually dimorphic, and I;ve noticed what I feel like are some similar physical characteristics between Pamphobeteus and Theraphosa. Just wondering if this applied to gender differences as well.

yes, other than traits that are more than likely to pertain to the vast majority of theraphosids.

Other than tibial spurs and palpal emboli?
T. blondi do not posess tibial spurs.

There is no sexual dimorphism with this species. Males look the same as females until their final moult.

Guess I need to read up more. I always thought they did. Either way, spermecethae and palpal emboli should be fairly good indicators of gender.
