I noticed on Saturday night that my 2" T blondi's bald spot had turned completely black. Does anybody happen to have an idea as to how much longer it will be before it starts to molt? I'm sure it varies among individuals, but I'd still imagine that one could make a fairly close guess based on previous experience.

Hard to say. I have had slings with completely black abdomens for up to 2 or 3 weeks before molting. Has your T stopped eating yet? The slings that went longer with the black abdomen kept eating for the most part. I do also have slings that have stopped eating for over a week already with black abdomens and they still haven't molted.

I would say to give it up to 2 weeks, maybe 3 and your t should molt. You can try to introduce prey still if your t has been eating, but should remove it within an hour or two if your t does not eat it by then.
