Man, those pictures sure do look like sh!t ... Sorry for telling, but with that quality I don't think I could even make a difference between a G. rosea and your T. blondi...
Nothing personal, but I just don't see any really pre-molt things on that spider.

Pretty little T. blondi :) It's still mighty young, isn't it? I'd be guessing that this is its first or second molt with you.

Good luck! Keep the humidity up! Let us know how it goes :)

Web cam pictures

Its hard to get good shots with a web cam, but keep
trying.
Try getting more light into the shot.
Here is a picture I just took with my web cam, its my
G. Rosea rescue from , well you guys know where I got her

Same here:D

I recently purchased a better digital camera, and honestly I think
I get better shots with my web cam sometimes, LOL:rolleyes:
Try opening the curtain in the room or even use a flash light.
Find as many light sources as you can.
My computer is in the front room next to a large window, so
that makes it easy for me, even with the web cam.
If you have a photo program sometimes you can make your
web cam pics look better too. I tweek my pics with Photo Shop6

Don't fret, bro. That's where I started out when I came to these boards a long time ago. Eventually, I saved up enough to buy a nice digital just to post things on here with :)

If people want to complain that there's no pretty T. blondi pics here for their amusement, let me fix that. Here's my big girl, right after her last molt.

There is a show in my area this weekend. I was thinking about
getting a T. blondi myself. But I need to get a really tiny one.
We do not have the room for larger T's right now. I can squeeze
in a few vials though:D

Early warning: these guys grow FAST! I've had mine for about 18 months, and she's already 10". I can't imagine how fast the males must grow.

This T.Blondi we got a 2.5 inches in May and now its probably around 4" and fixing to molt again so these thing do grow fast. I hope this T.Blondi is female but we shall see when it molt comes.

The last molt was 6-23-03 and its fixing to molt again just to give you an idea on how fast these things can molt.
