Hi, I have a juvenile 2.5 inch T. Blondi, and I was just wondering how many times a year that they molt? Each Tarantula is different, therefore I am curious on how often they molt unlike other Tarantulas.

If well fed and kept warm, Theraphosa blondi will molt every 2-3 months. The length of time will increase as it gets bigger.

Exact measurement I am not so sure. Probably around 7” or larger. Sadly I can’t find any females around.
Is he mature? I can't tell for sure based on your pictures. I have females, but sadly they're about 1 or 2 molts too small for breeding. It seems like everyone is trying to out speed the growth of their males in comparison to my females.

Why don't you try to loan or sell him? If he was at pen-ultimate, I would've offered a deal. But my females aren't large/ideal enough for breeding just yet. I am looking for a immature male T. blondi at the moment, but sad to see the timing isn't good or on point to where it could work for me. I recommend you try asking around for a mate because it is a T. blondi and they don't come around often, especially males.
